Tuesday Tips & Tricks

Project Overview

Among the many campaigns I led at WeVideo, Tuesday Tips & Tricks stands out as a passion project that turned into a powerful brand-building and engagement engine. What started as a weekly live video series grew into a 77-episode content ecosystem spanning social, blog, email, and in-app channels.

Objective

As a video editing platform, we knew we had to practice what we preached. Our audience—primarily aspiring YouTubers, educators, and small business owners—wanted more than a tool. They wanted inspiration, education, and connection. Tuesday Tips & Tricks gave us the chance to:

  • Engage with users live in real-time
  • Educate them on how to get more out of our product
  • Gather organic feature requests and user feedback
  • Strengthen brand affinity with authentic, weekly touchpoints

How We Did It

Each episode was broadcast live using Streamyard to Facebook, YouTube, and Twitter/X. Topics ranged from:

  • Product feature walkthroughs
  • How-to tutorials
  • Live Q&A and community chats
  • Guest interviews with creators and industry pros

After airing, we repurposed each episode into multiple formats to maximize reach:

  • Blog post with full transcript and summary highlights
  • 60-second clips (“Quick Tips”) for Instagram, YouTube Shorts, and email workflows
  • Feature callouts in email and in-app messaging via Intercom

Results

Tuesday Tips & Tricks became a staple in our content strategy:

What I Learned

Each episode was broadcast live using Streamyard to Facebook, YouTube, and Twitter/X. Topics ranged from:

  • How live content builds trust and transparency
  • The power of multi-channel repurposing to extend the life of a single idea
  • Why user-generated feedback is gold when channeled back to the product team
  • How a side project, when done consistently, can become core to the brand
